Do you think that Women in Nigeria should have equal rights like Nigerian men?

Over the past two decades in Nigeria, spousal abuse, violence against the opposite sex has reduced to less than 25% in comparison with the rest of the world.
Speculative reasons for this great improvement can be attributed to several factors, including things like legislation passed by the federal government of Nigeria, increase in education, the evolution of the Nigerian marital institution, with the recent progress in this regards, do you think that Nigeria should move a step higher by giving women equal rights as men in all regards?
