Tweep thanks Yvonne Nelson for releasing Iyanya from curse

A twitter user accused Nelson of having placed a curse on singer Iyanya over alleged infidelity, referring to her as a ‘mami water’ (mermaid).

The actress has been trending for some days following the release of her memoir titled, ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’ where she shared some personal information about her life including the fact that she once dated Iyanya who allegedly cheated on her with her former colleague, Tonto Dikeh.

Though Dikeh and Iyanya were yet to issue a direct statement about Nelson’s allegation, one blogger, however, had in their stead claimed the duo never dated but were merely friends.

Prior to this time, discourse on Iyana’s career supposedly taking a nosedive had been flying on several social media platform

As such, with the emergence of Nelson’s memoir and an old video where she granted an interview about her relationship with the Kukere master emphasising how much of a cheat he was, this tweep concluded she cursed the musician because of ‘phallus’ but thanked her for finally releasing him from the bondage.

He wrote: “Yes you’re not,” he wrote in agreement with the title of Nelson’s memoir, ‘I’m not Yvonne Nelson’.

He continued: “You’re a Mami water that cursed @Iyanya because of prick! Things really fell apart for him. Thank you for releasing him.”

But Iyanya, sharing a different view with the Twitter user remarked; “Them no born am well to fit curse me.”
